ASIA IS MOVING FORWARD: TEN YEARS AFTER THE CRISIS International Symposium - ADB Headquarters, Manila - 2 July 2007
Rationale
On the tenth anniversary of the Asian financial crisis, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is organizing an international symposum to review how Asian countries underwent two decades of dramatic change, from the rapid economic growth of the mid-1990s, to the large setbacks occurred during the crisis, to the renewed sustained expansion of today. Distinguished speakers, including current and former leading economic figures in the five crisis most-affected countries, will discuss the future of Asia and the perspectives for deepening regional cooperation and integration.
