  ADB Climate Change Program

The Asian Development Bank is taking the lead to mitigate the causes and adapt to the consequences of climate change in the Asia-Pacific region by establishing the Climate Change Mitigation Program and the Climate Change Adaptation Program. In line with its new Strategy 2020, ADB is integrating climate change into planning and investment, to ensure continued economic growth and a sustainable future for all in Asia and the Pacific.

To help make mitigation and adaptation actions more competitive and affordable to developing countries, ADB is mobilizing concessional resources through a number of mitigation and adaptation funds. ADB has also established the Climate Change Fund (CCF) to facilitate greater investments in developing member countries to effectively address the causes and consequences of climate change.
