The Pacific consists of Australia; Cook Islands; Fiji Islands; Kiribati; Marshall Islands; Micronesia, Federated States of; Nauru; New Zealand; Palau; Papua New Guinea; Samoa; Solomon Islands; Timor-Leste; Tonga; Tuvalu; and Vanuatu.

Developing Asia consists of Asia, excluding Australia, Japan and New Zealand.

ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) consists of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam.

ASEAN+3 consists of the 10 ASEAN member countries; China, People’s Republic of; Korea, Republic of; and Japan.

East Asia-15 consists of the 10 ASEAN member countries; China, People’s Republic of; Korea, Republic of; Japan; Hong Kong, China; and Taipei,China.

Emerging East Asia-14 consists of the 10 ASEAN member countries; China, People’s Republic of; Korea, Republic of; Hong Kong, China; and Taipei,China.

NIEs-4 (Newly Industrialized Economies-4) consists of Hong Kong, China; Korea, Republic of; Singapore; and Taipei,China.

SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) consists of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
