Port Traffic Database

The Port Traffic Database is an interactive database that features a set of port performance indicators derived using the Automatic Identification System (AIS data). Covering 20 ports with the highest throughput in 2022, the database has indicators on vessel arrivals, vessel stays, average waiting times, and average service times from 2019 to 2022. Also available are port performance data by vessel size: feeders (up to 3,000 TEU), intermediate (3,000–8 ,000 TEU), and Neopanamax (over 8,000 TEU). These data are used in the ADB Economics Working Paper No. 747 entitled "Measuring Port Activities and Lockdown Impact Using Automatic Identification System Data".
