A bilateral free trade agreement (FTA) between the Philippines and the United States (US) government was not on the negotiating table as the Biden administration was more focused on its Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) initiative, US Trade Representative Ambassador Katherine Tai said on April 18, 2023
