Clean Air Asia
Clean Air Asia, formerly Clean Air Initiative for Asian Cities (CAI-Asia), was established in 2001 with assistance from the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and United States-Asia Environmental Partnership (USEAP). The geographic scope of CAI-Asia includes South Asia, Southeast Asia, and East Asia. The primary emphasis is on cities which have significant air problems and expressed a willingness to tackle air pollution in a broad-based manner. The organization centers on four core programs: air quality and climate change, low emissions and urban development, clean fuels and vehicles and green freight and logistics.
