Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution
On September 16, 2014, Indonesia ratified the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution (Haze Agreement), signed on June 10 2002 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Haze Agreement intends to encourage national and regional efforts to reduce haze pollution. The other signatory nations are Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. http://haze.asean.org/
