Regional Public Goods

Regional cooperation and integration is a process by which national economies become more interconnected. Closer integration can result in positive benefits, such as coordinated disaster response, or negative externalities, such as the spread of communicable diseases. The Asia Regional Integration Center (ARIC) monitors developments in these Regional Public Goods, which also include:

  • Climate change
  • Clean energy and environmental protection
  • Anti-corruption and good governance
  • Human and drug trafficking
  • Anti-money laundering
